The baritone Lieven Termont has performed as a soloist with numerous Belgian and Dutch ensembles. He regularly works together with renowned musicians such as Paul Dombrecht, Philippe Pierlot, Florian Heyerick, Lazlo Heltay, Shalev Ad-El, Paul Van Nevel and Marcel Ponseele.
Recently he participated on four Bach recordings of baroque ensemble Il Gardellino (founded by Marcel Ponseele and Jan De Winne) and a world première of the Lukaspassion by Homilius/C.P.E Bach with Il Fondamento conducted by Paul Dombrecht.
Lieven Termont is also well known as the baritone of the former Capilla Flamenca, one of the leading groups in the world that specializes in 14th to 16th century music. As an ensemble singer he participated in a great many CD recordings and concerts through Europe and de the USA.
Lieven Termont graduated from the Lemmens Institute in Leuven (B) with a Master in Music and a First Prize in chamber music.At present he teaches singing at the Civic Music School in Leuven, Aalter and Aalst.
